1. Purpose
Akdeniz University, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme KA171 Project, offers opportunities for students (bachelor/master/PhD) from partner higher education institutions abroad to participate in teaching and/or training mobility. This announcement provides details regarding the application timeline, eligibility requirements, and selection process.
2. Application Timeline
- Announcement Publication: 29.09.2025
- Application Deadline: 21.10.2025 – h: 17.30 (TR time)
- Results Announcement: in October
- Withdrawal Notification Deadline: a week after the result announcement
- Final Results Announcement: in October
- Planned Mobility Period: Spring & Summer Semesters of 2026
3. Who Can Apply?
- Student registered at partner higher education institutions which has Erasmus+ KA171 inter-institutional agreements.

- Applicants must have a language proficiency (confirmed by national or international authorities such as TOEFL) on English or any language which will be used during mobility at Akdeniz University.
- Should be officially invited or accepted by Akdeniz University within the planned learning mobility period.
- For traineeship mobility, a formal invitation letter from the host department is required.
4. Duration of Mobility
- Learning Mobility: 4 months (120 days) or 16 weeks

5. Required Documents
- Application Form
- Copy of Passport
- Proof of student ID from the home institution.
- Language proficiency document (English/Turkish or any language which will be used during mobility in Akdeniz University). Foreign language certificate of international standard (not IELTS) in last 5 years will be accepted.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- Draft Student Learning Agreement for Study / Traineeship (https://uio.akdeniz.edu.tr/tr/erasmus_giden_ogrenci_dokumanlari-3066).
6. Selection Criteria
- Registered student at partner university.
- Language Level: B1
- Quality and feasibility of the proposed learning agreement.
- Activities for developing digital skills and Artificial Intelligence-related activities (+10 points)
- Benefiting from KA107/171 Student Mobility for the first time (+10 points)
- Commitment to equal opportunities; priority will be given to applicants with fewer opportunities (if applicable). (+10 points)
- Acceptable fewer opportunities: Barriers linked to discrimination / Barriers linked to education and training systems / Cultural differences / Disabilities / Economic barriers / Geographical barriers / Health problems / Social barriers.
- Applicants must provide a formal document which confirms the fewer opportunities. Additional grants may be awarded if the documents are approved by the Turkish National Agency.
- Completeness and accuracy of the submitted documents.
7. Financial Support
- Financial support is provided within the framework of Erasmus+ KA171 Project grants.
- Individual support: 800 €/per a month
- Travel support: For Azerbaijan, Kosovo, Moldova: 275 €
For Cameroon: 820 €
For Dominican Republic, Australia: 1500 €
NOTE: In case of using sustainable means of transport (green travel), a declaration of truth signed by the person receiving the travel grant and the sending institution will be requested from the beneficiary, as well as supporting documents such as boarding passes, bus/train tickets/passport entries and exits to determine the departure and return dates.
8. Application Procedure
- Applications must be submitted via e-mail through the International Relations Office.
- All required documents must be uploaded in PDF or the requested format.
- Incomplete applications will not be evaluated.
