1. Purpose

Akdeniz University, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme KA171 Project, offers opportunities for academic and administrative staff from partner higher education institutions abroad to participate in training mobility. This announcement provides details regarding the application timeline, eligibility requirements, and selection process.

2. Application Timeline

  • Announcement Publication: 02.06.2026
  • Application Deadline: 18.06.2026 – h: 17.00 (TR time)
  • Results Announcement: in June
  • Withdrawal Notification Deadline: a week after the result announcement
  • Final Results Announcement: in June
  • Planned Mobility Period: By the ending of project in 31.07.2026, all mobilities have be completed.

3. Who Can Apply?

  • Academic or administrative staff employed at partner higher education institutions which has Erasmus+ KA171 inter-institutional agreements.

  • Applicants must have a language proficiency (confirmed by national or international authorities such as TOEFL) in English or any language which will be used during mobility at Akdeniz University.

OR A decleration of teching in English in the University she/he belong.

OR a diploma which confirm she/he graduated in the department in higher education which teaching language is totally English.

  • Should be officially invited or accepted by the related host department in Akdeniz University within the planned mobility period.

4. Training Mobility

  • Training Mobility: Days of courses should be min. 5 following days. It is possible for staff to receive various training programs (such as on-the-job training and observation sessions, workshops, etc) to develop their skills related to their current job. Attending conferences is not considered eligible for staff training.

5. Required Documents

  • Application Form (provided by the International Relations Office).
  • Copy of Passport
  • Proof of Employment from the home institution.
  • Language proficiency document (English/Turkish or any language which will be used during mobility in Akdeniz University). Foreign language certificate of international standard (not IELTS) in last 5 years will be accepted.
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV).

6. Selection Criteria

  • Relevance of academic/professional background and expertise.
  • Language Level: B2
  • Quality and feasibility of the proposed teaching or training programme.
  • Activities for developing digital skills and Artificial Intelligence-related activities (+10 points)
  • Benefiting from KA107/171 Personnel Mobility for the first time (+10 points)
  • Commitment to equal opportunities; priority will be given to applicants with disabilities (if applicable). (+10 points)
  • Applicants must provide a formal document which confirm the disability. Additional grants may be awarded if the documents are approved by the Turkish National Agency.
  • Completeness and accuracy of the submitted documents. Applicants are responsible to provide all necessary documents by application timeline.

7. Financial Support

  • Financial support is provided within the framework of Erasmus+ KA171 Project grants.
  • Individual support: 140 €/per a day (teaching days for mobility + 2 days for travel will be granted)
  • Travel support: For Dominican Republic, USA and Canada: 1500 €

NOTE: In case of using sustainable means of transport (green travel), a declaration of truth signed by the person receiving the travel grant and the sending institution will be requested from the beneficiary, as well as supporting documents such as boarding passes, bus/train tickets/passport entries and exits to determine the departure and return dates.

8. Application Procedure

  • Applications must be submitted via e-mail (erasmuska107@akdeniz.edu.tr , incoming@akdeniz.edu.tr) through the International Relations Office.
  • All required documents must be uploaded in PDF or the requested format.
  • Incomplete applications will not be evaluated.
